Fancy dress and theatrical costumier, ABC Costume Hire of Berkhamsted, has over 2500 costumes for hire, plus a range of accessories, wigs and make-up for sale.

ABC Costume Hire has been in Berkhamsted for over 12 years starting in Gossoms End and moving to the High Street five years ago. The business was purchased in August 2000 by Nicola Hannell, and Susanne Farnfield, from previous owner Liz Rogers.



Since Nicky & Sue have taken over, the costume stock has increased with new character and period outfits now available. “We are always looking for new outfits which will be of interest to our customers whether from the new films on release or from a cult TV programme. We have a large range of costumes for hire as well as accessories, wigs and make-up for sale. The only problem we now have is where to keep the ever expanding stock!” says Nicky.
